20 oz. Fiberglass Mock Leno Weave Fabric Style 7587

The 20 oz. Fiberglass Tooling Fabric is a heavy duty mock leno weave fabric woven from E-glass fibers. It has a thicker, rougher textured surface and a more “open” weave than plain weave fabrics.

This tooling fabric is used to bulk up laminates or tooling and is suitable for use in wet layup, vacuum bagging and resin infusion manufacturing as it facilitates easy wet out. However due to the open weave pattern, it is recommended that a light weight fabric be used on the surface to prevent print through.

This fabric is suitable for use in wet layup, vacuum bagging and resin infusion manufacturing. It has been sized to enhance wet-out and is compatible with polyester, vinyl-ester and epoxy resins.
