Description

ACP's G-10/FR4 Fiberglass Sheets are solid, high strength laminates consisting of fiberglass prepreg reinforced with high strength epoxy resin. They are a versatile all-around laminate suited for pattern templates, surface sheeting or anywhere a flat, smooth fiberglass sheet is required. The Black Fiberglass Sheet is manufactured with a black pigment added to the epoxy resin leaving a "look" of a flat black carbon fiber laminate without the additional cost.

Fiberglass Sheets are Autoclave cured at high temperatures and pressure to ensure a strong, rigid product that cannot be re-shaped after cured. Unlike wet layup, Autoclave curing consistently yields flat, lightweight sheets with minimal voids, waves or buildups.

Our Fiberglass Sheets are FR4 grade fire retardant and can be safely substituted where G10 is called for. Beyond their electrical insulating properties, Fiberglass sheets exhibit great dimensional stability and superior adhesive properties. They have extremely high mechanical strength, good dielectric loss properties, good electric strength properties and excellent chemical resistance, not only at room temperature but also under humid or moist conditions.
