Aramid Honeycomb Core - Over-Expanded Cell
Details
The Over-Expanded Aramid Honeycomb is a lightweight, high strength, nonmetallic honeycomb core material manufactured from aramid fiber paper. The over-expanded cell shape allows the core to flex in one direction easily, making it suitable for forming simple curves. After the honeycomb is formed, it is coated with a heat resistant phenolic resin to increase its strength and thermal properties.
Aramid Honeycomb is becoming increasingly used in high-performance, non-aerospace components due to its high mechanical properties, low density and good long-term stability. It is ideal for any structure which requires corrosion resistance and thermal insulation.

Due to size restrictions, 48" x 48" sizes require custom packaging and may have to ship via freight services. A $35.00 handling fee will apply and will automatically be added to the order. Clearance
