Description

This Carbon Fiber/Kevlar® fabric is a 5.4oz 2x2 twill weave hybrid reinforcement woven with 3K carbon fiber and Kevlar® 49 fibers. This unique combination offers the stiffness and strength of carbon fiber, whereas the Kevlar® fibers provide impact, abrasion and fracture resistance. The Kevlar® fibers are dyed for an eye-catching red and black color combination.

The 2x2 twill construction allows for easy layup on compound curves and provides a highly desirable decorative pattern. This distinct looking hybrid fabric is a pliable material that is ideal for high-performance and high-impact applications.
